The Peregrine 10ST has been specially designed for muddy, soft and wet trails. This provides and excellent lock-down feel and the necessary stability. This new material is about 25% lighter in weight than the EVERUN material which Saucony used before. The PWRRUN+ material is responsive and durable, and returns energy with every step you take. Just like the regular Peregrine 10, the Peregrine 10 ST features a FORMFIT upper. The upper of the Peregrine 10 ST is made of water-repellent material and keeps the feet dry when running on wet and soft surfaces. This provides and lock-down feel and the necessary stability. These aggressive, long cleats bite into the soft surface and provide grip. The 6.5 mm cleats underneath the outsole are 1.5 mm longer than those of the regular Peregrine 10s. The PWRTRAC outsole is very durable and features the above mentioned 6.5 mm cleats for grip and traction. The EVA Rock Plate protects the feet from stones and rocks. It's almost as if the feet sink into and become part of the shoe. The Protective Toecap protects the feet from sticks and stones encountered on your trail.The midsole is made of PWRRUN+ cushioning material.
