Description

Artist: Artpoptart Subject: Animals Style: Modern & Contemporary Product Type: Gallery-Wrapped Canvas Art This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a sea horse in the center of a modern line pattern. Making a living as an artist almost happened accidentally. I now have 85 pieces listed and have made over 300 sales. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. I decided to try my luck online and listed it the next day. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. I now have 85 pieces listed and have made over 300 sales. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. I painted over it using spray paint and acrylic in gold and primary colors and it turned into sort of an geometric art deco inspired creation. I had been out of college for a few years and jumping from job to job unsatisfied when one night I decided to have fun and paint over an old painting I detested from school.
