Description

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. 1x is not your average photo site. Getting published on 1x is a great achievement; many photographers whose works now hang in art galleries were once discovered on 1x. Our curators have experience from well known institutions such as Sothebys and Tate Modern Art. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. Subject: Cityscape Style: Traditional Product Type: Gallery-Wrapped Canvas Art Made in USA Period: Modernism Shape: Rectangle Orientation: Landscape Style: Contemporary Size: 24 x 47. Its no coincidence that art directors, book editors, and magazines all over the world use photos from 1x photographers. All photos on 1x are selected by a team of professional gallery curators, just like in a real photo gallery. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
