Description

Alan Blaustein is a passionate Traveler and image maker. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a decorative statue in an Italian garden overlooking a lake. Alan has had success with his work in calendars, cards, and wall decor and also editorial images in periodicals, books, and magazines. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. During time spent abroad and within the USA, he has captured a unique variety of photography ranging from architecture to landscapes, in addition to portraits and still life photography. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. His vast collection of fine art photography is featured in museum, gallery, and private collections.
