Surya Lockhart LKH-9008 5' x 7'6'' Area Rug

Description

North Carolina-based artist and textile designer Alexander Wyly founded his design studio in 2013. Specializing in the creation of pattern art for rugs, upholstery and wall coverings, Wyly draws inspiration for his designs from daily walks in the woods of the Blue Ridge Mountains, tribal art and his travels to India, Japan, Thailand and New Zealand. His rug collections for Surya play upon the dynamic harmony between simplicity and complexity, organic and geometric, ancient and contemporary to bring modern yet timeless looks that complement a broad range of lifestyles and decor needs.Blending classic design with subtle hints of tempting trend, the rugs found within the Lockhart collection by Alexander Wyly offer an exquisite addition from room to room within any home d閏or. Hand hooked in 100% wool, these pieces allow a sense of timelessness in comfort and construction, while still embodying a smooth sense subtle sophistication with a taste of chic charm. High powered vacuums, more often than not, pull out of the back of rugs, causing sprouts and a generally unattractive appearance to a once rug. To counter this effect, place your vacuum starting at the edge of the rug, using a low setting and high elevation, or if possible, use hand held attachments when cleaning. As well, over time, the fibers within your piece will unavoidably begin to weaken. North Carolina-based artist and textile designer Alexander Wyly founded his design studio in 2013.
