In addition, the Sidi Ergo 5 features their Adjustable Heel Security System. It has long been part of SIDI's range and offers the rider an additional level of fit at the heel. Now made using a dense Memory Foam, the Ergo 5's Soft Instep 3 will beautifully conform to your feet after a few rides to give an excellent level of tailored comfort and fit, otherwise unobtainable without the use of moldable offerings. The Ergo 5s deliver everything you could need for racing or sportives, club runs or solo ventures. The Ergo 5 sees an upgrade from the 2-way caliper ratchet and twin velcro strap on the lesser models, to the Tecno 3 closure system. Similar to BOA closures so popular in the market now, the Tecno 3 uses wires to evenly spread load over the shoe. In addition to the comfort offered by the generous padding in the tongue, SIDI have also greatly improved their insole. The bottom of the closure is a single small velcro strap.
