Not only that but they are both compatible LG Simplink products and wouldn't recognize each other? It would say..."No 3D content detected" or something like that when trying to play 3D movies! It may have been a bad unit but not very impressive anyways! It wouldn't connect to the internet upstairs, had poor signal strength and would lose connection half-way thru a movie on Netflix. When connected via LAN cable to the TV it doesn't give the TV internet access at all. Basically nothing worked on it! The Sony version or Vizio equals of this BluRay player are much better! When connected via LAN cable to the TV it doesn't give the TV internet access at all. Very frustrating!
